Commissions and paintings
Lucy paints plant portraits for Curtis’s Botanical Magazine, captured from life with close attention to detail and natural colour. Others are commissions for specifically requested plants, and in more than one case commissioned as gifts, reflecting a connection between the recipient and a unique plant and place. Finally, some are done for the joy of it, for exhibition and sale.
